When mesothelioma affects the lining of the testes, it is called tunica vaginalis mesothelioma. The tunica vaginalis is the pouch that covers the testes. This type of mesothelioma is thought to be exceedingly rare, though exact incidence numbers are unknown. Treatment for it includes chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, immunotherapy, as well as any combination of those.
