The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation has been instrumental in providing seed money for mesothelioma research when other research funds for this cancer were not available.
To speed-up research advances, the organization’s funding objectives are twofold:
- To fund basic mesothelioma research and support mesothelioma clinical trials through peer-reviewed, projects; and
- To stimulate additional federal research funding opportunities.
Since 1999, the Meso Foundation has funded over $11.5 million in research projects across the globe. It takes time to move research from the bench to the bedside. As the Meso Foundation’s research grant program matures, we are already seeing its impact grow.
