Help researchers understand
the mesothelioma caregiver experience!
The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation is seeking participants for a study focused on understanding the experiences and challenges of caregivers of mesothelioma patients.
The study, which is led by researchers at Michigan State University, is currently conducting focus groups with caregivers of mesothelioma patients, with patients, with those who have previously cared for a mesothelioma patient who has since passed away.
We would particularly like to invite United States Veterans or those who are caring for or lost a loved one who was a Veteran to participate.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN FOCUS GROUPS:
- Caregivers of mesothelioma patients
- Mesothelioma patients
- Former caregivers of mesothelioma patients

WHAT CAN PARTICIPANTS EXPECT:
In this part of the study, Michigan State University researchers will conduct 1.5-hour focus groups. There will be two focus group sessions and participants can choose whether to participate in one or both sessions.
A $25 gift card will be provided to each participant for each focus group (up to 2) completed.

This study is funded by the Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program.
