Melissa’s role at the Meso Foundation encompasses many facets. She serves all functions of internal and external communications, including marketing, graphic design, web design, social media, and email communications for the foundation. She brings her prior experience and education to lead the foundation’s brand and mission forward through cohesive messaging and strategy. She is also the lead organizer on the annual International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma each year as well as the liason for all third party awareness events and fundraisers.
Melissa came to the Meso Foundation with ten years of experience in marketing and communications in the non-profit industry. She previously worked for The Center for Courageous Kids and Hope Harbor, a sexual assault recovery center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Non-Profit Administration from Western Kentucky University.
