Brian Lepacek, MDiv, CAE has been an executive leader in the non-profit philanthropy sector for over 25 years and has successfully led innovative expansions of resource development for granting, social service, and healthcare nonprofit organizations at the local, regional and national levels. Before joining the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation in 2024, Brian served as the Vice President of Resource Development for AMIkids, Inc., leading fundraising diversification strategy, support, and development oversight for over 54 locations across 9 states. Before joining AMIkids, Brian served as the Executive Director and Chief Philanthropy Officer of the OSF Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation in Evergreen Park, Illinois, leading fundraising, government affairs, community benefit and the patient/provider experience across the healthcare enterprise.
Prior to his decade of tenure the LCMH Foundation, Mr. Lepacek held strategic leadership roles in multiple operational and fundraising modalities for the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (Los Angeles/Chicago/New York); Boys & Girls Clubs of America (Chicago/Atlanta); and the Lester and Rosalie Anixter Center, a disability services organization (Chicago).
Preceding his career in philanthropy, Brian served in several professional ministry capacities for the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Diocese of Rockford focused on best pastoral practice, liturgy, and faith community formation. A former professional musician, Brian toured extensively throughout Italy, the Holy Land and Israel from 1996-2000 as a founding member of the 8-person a cappella ensemble Still Pointe. As a classically trained instrumentalist and vocalist, Brian remains active in the local classical arts community. On occasion you may find him enjoying a round or two of weekend golf.
Mr. Lepacek is a graduate of the University of Chicago (BA, Musicology) and Catholic Theological Union at Chicago (Master of Divinity), and he holds the professional Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation through the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
