Bill grew up in rural Erie, Michigan before moving to East Lansing, Michigan where he studied telecommunications and business at Michigan State University. After obtaining his degree, Bill relocated to the Detroit metro area where he furthered his growth and development in the automotive industry specializing in finance, marketing, sales, and process. Diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma in 2011 shortly after the birth of his third child, Bill brings his experience as a patient to the board of directors, where he is focused on patient advocacy as it relates to experience, treatment, and policy.
He and his wife, Kate, have three wonderful children, Nona, Henry, and Coral. When he is not playing with his family, you can find Bill on his bicycle, at the ballpark, or driving at the racetrack.
