Aaron Mansfield, MD is a medical oncologist who specializes in thoracic malignancies and early phase clinical trials at Mayo Clinic. His overall goal is to improve care for patients with mesothelioma through the investigation of novel therapeutics and the development of prognostic and predictive biomarkers. He was the first to assess PD-L1 expression in mesothelioma and has written clinical trials for mesothelioma, one of which is sponsored by the NCI and is activating internationally.
He enjoys working with the Meso Foundation to advocate for the needs of mesothelioma patients and their caregivers.
