Which imaging technique is best for mesothelioma diagnosis and surveillance?

Mesothelioma’s presentation makes it difficult to identify the cancer through imaging techniques; however, certain methods are better than others. Sometimes, the combination of two methods can provide a good idea of cancer volume and stage. In recent years, imaging is also being studied as a way to help deliver treatment directly to the cancer.

This session on imaging was held during the 2023 International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma in Washington, DC.

It features:
Charles Simone, MD, NY Proton Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Christopher Straus, MD, University of Chicago
