We meet today with Dr. James Pingpank of the Hillman Cancer Center at UPMC in Pittsburgh, to discuss peritoneal mesothelioma and its treatment. James F. Pingpank Jr., MD, is an associate professor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Pingpank specializes in regional treatment strategies for advance malignancies of the liver and peritoneal cavity.
Dr. Pingpank is board-certified in general surgery. He received a medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He completed a residency at the University of Connecticut, Department of Surgery, and a fellowship at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Department of Surgery, Philadelphia.
