New support group and other community events

support group

The next few weeks are packed with support and conversation groups, and community events. To make it easier for everyone to plan ahead, take a look at our schedule below.

Note our New Professionally-Facilitated Support Group for Patients

On Wednesday, April 27, at 7 PM ET we will convene the first session of a new, professionally-facilitated, group for patients. To participate in this group, you will need to register. If you are already a part of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, you will receive the link to register in your email. If you haven’t received it, please contact Shannon Sinclair, RN, BSN, OCN at [email protected] or (703) 879-3821.

Community Socials in April and May

We added two new community social events to our calendar! We have timed them so folks on each coast and in between can choose one (or both!) that is most convenient for them, timing-wise. Please note that the first event is listed with the Pacific Time Zone as primary, while the second one follows the Eastern Time Zone. As mentioned, both are open to everyone regardless of location.

Community Social #1: April 26 at 7 PM Pacific Time (10 PM Eastern)

Community Social #2: May 24 at 8 PM Eastern Time (5 PM Pacific)

Schedule

Aside from the above-mentioned new group, our existing groups still function in the same way as usual. Those patients/family members who already receive those email reminders will continue to receive them. If you are not receiving reminder emails with the Zoom link (or call-in information), please contact Shannon Sinclair at [email protected] or (703) 879-3821 to be added to these groups.
