National Mesothelioma Virtual Tissue Bank

Michael Becich, MD, PhD explains the background and purpose of the National Mesothelioma Virtual Tissue Bank (NMVB) — the only national tissue and data repository exclusively dedicated to mesothelioma.

Dr. Becich is chairman of the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the principal investigator of the NMVB and a former member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
