The fourteenth annual Walk to Cure Meso is taking place Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 at 9:00 AM in Eisenhower Park (East Meadow, NY). This family-friendly walk is organized annually by Erica Iacono, a community member and former member of the Meso Foundation’s board of directors, to honor the memory of her father, Anthony, who passed away from mesothelioma in 2000.
“The event is such a great display of a community coming together for a worthy cause,” said Erica Iacono. “For me and others who have lost someone, it shows that you can turn a tragedy into something that helps others.”
