Drop your running shoes and break out your dancing shoes for the Rockin’ for Meso fundraiser this Saturday, May 11 in Marlton, NJ! This fifth annual Fundraise for Meso event will feature live music and entertainment, catered food, beverages, a raffle and a special guest speaker.
Rockin’ for Meso is organized by Erin Wojno Mosher and her family, and raises funds for mesothelioma research and awareness of the disease in honor of Bruce Wojno, Erin’s dad and an 11-year mesothelioma warrior. After undergoing two major surgeries and two heated chemotherapy treatments, Bruce is in remission with slow regrowth.
At this annual fundraiser, the Wojnos also honor the memory of Thomas Amato, a 4-year mesothelioma warrior who passed away in 2014. This event previously consisted of a 5K run, but due to organizational constraints, the family switched focus to an entertainment format.
“Over the last five years of fundraising, our family has been fortunate to cross paths with other meso warriors and their amazing families. We are excited to make a mark on year five and get Rockin’ for Meso!”
Erin Wojno Mosher
