Fundraise for Meso: Mother’s Day Meso Run 2019 in Los Angeles, CA

The second annual Mother’s Day Weekend Meso Run kicks off next Saturday, May 11 on the trails near Griffith Park’s Old Los Angeles Zoo.

This family-friendly 5k run/walk is organized by Meso Foundation fundraiser and community member Julia Forgie in memory of her mother, Patty, who passed away from peritoneal mesothelioma on May 4, 2017, just one week before Mother’s Day.

“My mom was an avid explorer and hiker who loved the outdoors. This event honors her and everyone affected by mesothelioma by taking place on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend and on a trail in a park.”
