Action Alert: Help Us Make the Mesothelioma Patient Registry a Reality

IMPORTANT: This is a new action! Even if you’ve already contacted your congressional representatives and they already cosigned the bill, please send them this message to request funding for the registry.

We urgently need your help to establish a mesothelioma patient registry! Every year, Congress provides funding to U.S. Departments and agencies through 12 different appropriations bills. As part of this annual funding process, U.S. Senators and Representatives have the opportunity to write the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the various appropriations subcommittees, expressing their priorities for funding for the coming fiscal year. Below, we have made available two letters (one for your House of Representatives member, and one for your Senators) for you to send to your elected officials asking them to support funding to establish a national mesothelioma patient registry.

Feel free to make any changes to the letter that would make it more personal. Keep in mind that two slightly different letters will be sent: one to your House of Representatives’ elected official, and one to your two Senators, so make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.

If you have any questions or need assistance as you reach out to your members of Congress, please contact us [email protected] or 877-363-6376.
