On Saturday, September 22, Midwestern runners and walkers rejoice! The fourth annual 
Miles for Meso in Alton, IL is back again this year! Experienced and less experienced runners (and walkers) are all invited to spread their gait and get together for a morning of endorphins, community, awareness and fundraising.
This 5K run and 2K walk, sponsored by the Simmons Firm starts at 8:30 AM at the Simmons Firm building, across from Marquette Catholic High School (One Court Street Alton, IL).
Registration is now open (you can register here) and will remain open until September 18, 2012 at midnight. The cost to register is $20 until Aug. 31, $25 until Sept. 18, and $30 on race day, and includes a running-shirt and post-race activities. All proceeds benefit the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
